Itinerary: 10 DAYS PORT ELIZABETH TO CAPE TOWN
Day 1: TSITSIKAMMA
Your tour starts in Port Elizabeth and drive you via a scenic route to Tsitsikamma. In Tsitsikamma you can take a short walk into the forest to see the Big Tree, which is an important type of tree for the Tsitsikamma Forest. Continuing you can visit the Tsitsikamma National Park and take a hike to the hang bridge over the rumbling river. Overnight in Tsitsikamma.
Day 2: KNYSNA
In the morning you drive to Knysna. During your drive you can visit Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, The Elephant Sanctuary and Plettenberg Bay on your way. Monkeyland is a sanctuary, where you will find all types of monkeys, who live in the forest. A guide will walk you through the forest, while telling you all about the monkeys you see. Birds of Eden is a subtropical bird park, where you walk through yourself. At the Elephant Sanctuary you can walk, touch and ride on an elephant. Plettenberg Bay is a wonderful sea side resort. Day 3: KNYSNA
You have a day in Knysna to enjoy the town and its attractions. Knysna has several boat cruises to offer and an exciting amount of adventure activities. Also the town has been chosen Town of the Year several times. Overnight in Knysna
Day 4: OUDTSHOORN
From Knysna you travel through the wonderful nature of Wilderness. You can have a break at Wilderness to enjoy the beach and little town. Continuing you travel to George and via the Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn.
Day 5: OUDTSHOORN
In Oudtshoorn you can visit the world famous Cango Caves, Ostrich Farms and the Cheetah Wildlife Ranch. If you like to experience a nice game drive we can arrange that for you at Buffels Drift. Are you more a nature lover we would recommend to drive the Swartberg Pass. Overnight in Oudtshoorn
Day 6: STELLENBOSCH
Today you drive via the scenic R 62 to Stellenbosch in the middle of the wine region. Overnight in Stellenbosch.
Day 7: STELLENBOSCH
As you probably have arrived late in the afternoon in Stellenbosch you have this day to explore this beautiful old town with its typical Cape Dutch Style Architecture. Apart from that Stellenbosch is well know by its wine farms. Overnight in Stellenbosch
Day 8: CAPE TOWN
We leave early morning to explore the Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. On our way we visit Houtbay and the penguins in Simonstown. At Cape of Good Hope we will visit the most south westerly point of South Africa. Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 9: CAPE TOWN
Today you can explore all the famous attractions of Cape Town like Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, The company Gardens, Green Market Square, Kirstenbosch Garden and lots more. Overnight in Cape Town
Day 10: AIRPORT
Today you bring your car back to the airport, where your trip ends.
